Rode a 104 mile ride on the Mickelson Trail in South Dakota last week and it was perfect for that. I do not race but I also ride it on the mountain bike trails we have when I don't want to ride my full suspension Cannondale Prophet. I have not changed a thing on this bike (yet) bought it in March.
